Justas Ramanauskas is a Lithuanian director from Vilnius whose ever-growing portfolio includes commercials, music videos, and short films.
His passion for moving pictures started when he first picked up a camera aged thirteen, and since then he’s become one of the most successful music video directors in Lithuania. His work has been shown at the Berlin Music Video Awards, Riga International Film Festival, Vilnius International Film Festival, and the Unsigned Music Video Awards in the UK, where he received a nomination for Best International Music Video.
He’s also a highly sought-after director of commercials, having worked with some of the biggest brands (including Vinted, Swedbank, Maggi, Maxima, and Švyturys) and advertising agencies (Ogilvy, TBWA, Not Perfect, New!, and others) both in Lithuania and Europe.
Justas’s work is infused with his own unique style of filmmaking. You can see the artistry in every frame, you can feel the rhythm of every cut, and you can sense the passion he puts into every project that makes his work stand out from others. This style is present in his debut short film Sniper, a dark comedy which he also co-wrote that will soon be featured in various international film festivals. His next short film, Daddy, will debut in 2020.
