Patricia began her writing career on the iconic sitcom ‘Desmonds’ and the spin off ‘Porkpie’ for Channel Four.
She spent a number of years working in children’s TV where she has written several episodes on shows such as Kerching!, Young Dracula, My Almost Famous Family and Sadie J for CBBC.
Her radio work includes writing sketches for ‘It’s Jocelyn’ starring 3 Non Blondes actor Jocelyn Gee and developing a Lenny Henry half hour for Radio Four entitled ‘Tailor Made’.
For theatre, Patricia co-wrote ‘Urban Afro Saxons’ directed by Paulette Randall for Talawa Theatre Company and staged at the Theatre Royal Stratford East.
Most recently, Patricia developed a reboot of ‘Desmonds’ for Hatrick Television with Phil Bowker, creator of Phone Shop, E4.
Her latest work is on the Sky One comedy drama, ‘Bloods’ (season 2) starring Samson Kayo and Jane Horrocks alongside Lucy Punch, Adrian Scarborough and Julian Barret which is due for transmission on Sky and the American streaming service Hulu later this year. She is currently writing on a new show for CBBC / Black Camel entitled ‘Gifted’
