Sarah Gordon is Belfast based writer and director working across film, tv and children’s content. She was part of BBC Writersroom’s ‘Drama Room’ 21/22 cohort.
Her first feature as co-writer and exec producer AONTAS (Púca Pictures) will premiere at Santa Barbara Film Festival. Her short films have been distributed by BBC, RTE and France’s CINE+.
She has written two educational series for BBC Bitesize (Hop Skip Studios), and ten episodes of CBeebies’ pre-school series YUKEE (Score Draw Media). Most recently she wrote and directed on CBBC’s alien comedy PICKLE STORM S2 (Blackdog Television).
Sarah currently has three other features in funded development including a children’s animated feature for Score Draw Media; a coming of (middle-) age comedy with Farwander Films; and she is co-writing an Irish language coming-of-age drama for Púca Pictures through TG4’s Cine4 scheme.
Sarah spent last year on Danú Media’s Greenlight Screenwriting Lab, guided by Philip Shelley, where she developed a TV pilot for a new comedy thriller called COO-COO. She was also part of the Puttnam Scholar’s Programme guided by producer David Puttnam.
