Susanna Wolff is a writer and actress from Cambridge with Jewish heritage, currently based in London. She holds dual UK/German citizenship.
Susanna studied Drama at the University of Bristol, though in reality, this can be more accurately described as studying having fun at the University of Bristol. She later graduated from Drama Centre London, affectionately known as “Trauma Centre London.” Early experiences which inevitably influenced her sharp, relatable scripts full of magnetically flawed characters.
Her debut play, Totally Fine—a darkly funny therapy session featuring a cynical therapist under supervision—headlined Menagerie Theatre Company’s internationally renowned Hotbed Festival in Cambridge in July 2024. The play then successfully transferred to London, where it enjoyed two sell-out runs in early 2025. It was critically acclaimed as “poignant and deeply entertaining” and a “tour de force of creativity” (Northwest End Theatre). After receiving multiple 5-star reviews, Totally Fine will return to the stage later in 2025 in collaboration with Speak Easy Theatre Company.
Susanna’s TV pilot and web series, Intervention Snacks, is currently in development with Troika Film Collective.
Additionally, she is currently writing and developing a new play titled VOMIT—a fast-paced, comic two-hander that explores the messy emotional landscape of female friendship, navigating the chaos of motherhood, and tackling the life-and-death decision of whether or not to have children.
