Jacqueline O’Mahony.

Jacqueline O’Mahony is from Cork, Ireland, and was named Young Irish Writer of the Year by the Irish Examiner when she was 14. She did her BA in Ireland, her MA at the University of Bologna, and her PhD in History as a Fulbright Scholar at Duke University, and at Boston College. She worked at Conde Nast as a stylist and editor for Vogue, and at Associated Newspapers as an arts editor. She lives in London with her husband and three young children and in 2015 gained a distinction in City University’s MA in Creative Writing. Her first novel, A River In The Trees, was published by Hachette in 2019. It was nominated for The Authors’ Club Best First Novel Award, and the Not The Booker award in 2020. Her second novel, Sing, Wild Bird, Sing, will be published by Lake Union (Amazon) in 2023.
