Kuba Shand-Baptiste is an award-winning journalist, writer and editor whose compelling storytelling and thought-provoking narratives often explore identity, human connection and social justice.

Soon Come, her debut novel, is her love-letter to British-Jamaican culture, those wronged by the immigration system and those who are forever searching for a sense of home. It will be published by Dialogue Books in 2025.

She is also an experienced and engaging public speaker who has frequently participated in panel discussions, lectures and radio shows as well as podcasts. In 2020, she won the Barbara Blake-Hannah Award at the British Journalism Awards.
