Madeleine is an author, screenwriter, and documentary filmmaker.

She’s working on her first book, a shared memoir. The book takes the form of letters between Madeleine and her mum, who died in 2021.

Madeleine has worked on multiple critically acclaimed documentaries, including the BBC’s Belsen: Our Story, and a feature documentary exploring the relationship between Stephen Hawking and his family, Hawking: Can you hear me? for Sky Documentaries.

Her screenplays include a queer twisted romance, a political thriller, and a dystopian road story. She is currently developing a dark comedy about a girls’ holiday which turns feral.

She lives in London with her sister and a mouse.
