Priscilla Mante is a London based Scottish writer of Ghanaian heritage. She spent the first 19 years of her life in her hometown Glasgow, but has since lived in a variety of cities including Dundee, Philadelphia, Liverpool and Seoul . Priscilla had the privilege of spending several years delivering arts, literacy and academic programmes to young people many of whom were care experienced and/or excluded from school. She was selected for the inaugural London Writers Awards 2018 , an ACE funded writing development scheme delivered by Spread the Word. She currently works in communications and policy. When she isn’t working or writing you might find her enjoying London’s vibrant cultural offerings, travelling last minute to a new destination or curled up at home with a book.
